While a very young Fuu and her mother were praying at a shrine, she prayed that one day God would let her meet her father at least once.

At the young age of 15, Fuu has had to learn to grow up earlier than most her age. A year before, on July 10th, her mother passed away. Before her mother died she told Fuu that the father she thought had died was still alive. After learning this, Fuu decided she wanted to go on a journey to find her father, whom she only remembered smelled like sunflowers. However, she didn't have the courage then.

Fuu finds herself working at a teahouse biding her time. A year later on July 10th, the teahouse burnt down during a brawl between two young men and Fuu saw this as her chance to finally go on that journey.

Fuu, aware of her lack of fighting skills, wisely chooses to choose bring along two bodyguards to accompany her on the journey. Who better than the two swordsmen who demonstrated their impressive skills that day.
